What it is used for

• Dead Drops: Share information securely and anonymously.

How it works

PLCFile (PubLiC File) is a free and secure online file folder. Enter any title to create a new folder or to access existing files. No account is required to access.

Every file is encrypted with AES-256, using the title as the encryption key. Then the SHA-256 hash of the title is used to index the encrypted folder in a database.

By design, there is no way to return to a folder if you forget the title.

Files stored on plcfile can be public or private depending on the complexity of the title. Simple titles lead to highly visible files that can be downloaded by anyone who stumbles upon them, while complex titles lead to private files that are securely encrypted. The higher the complexity of the title, the stronger the encryption.

Do not use plcfile to store sensitive information. By using plcfile you are agreeing to our terms.
