What is PLCFile?

PLCFile (PubLiC File) is a free and secure online file folder that allows you to create, share, and access encrypted files without needing an account.

How can I find the file if I forgot to type in the folder title before uploading?

If you haven't typed in any folder title, then we would take filename, including extension, as the folder title.

How can I retrieve the file if I forget the folder title?

Then good luck! I don't even know how. The title is used as encryption key and index in database.

Is PLCFile truely anonymous?

Yes. PLCFile does not require any personal information or account creation. Your files are linked only to the title you create, ensuring your privacy.

Are files kept forever?

No. If you need a long-term file storage, you need a different service.
The files are deleted after 7 days.

Is PLCFile free to use?

For now and for certain features. Files are heavy; uploading, encrypting, decrypting and downloading files cost. For a personal project I can only pay so much.
